DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHT PHYSICS DEPARTMENT

 •  The Physics department strives to develop reasoning, mathematical and communications skills within a rigorous academic program while maintaining the same student-oriented environment to prepare students for their chosen profession. Every class is specifically designed to develop those skills while teaching students the principles of physics.

Careers: There’s almost an unlimited range of options for employment with a degree in physics, ranging from research, through government, economics, engineering, computer modeling/simulation, robotics, aerospace/aviation defense and education, just to name a few.  The bigger question is what can’t I do with a physics degree?

•  Events: Our planetarium has recently undergone some major dates and acquired a new digital projector.  Come see our new shows every Thursday (excluding holidays and semester breaks) at 7 p.m. for only $2 per person.
